The first is getting it professionally custom-designed to be the perfect shape for your head as well as the ideal texture, density, colour, and length for you.
The second is ensuring your hairpiece is of the highest quality. The third is having it professionally cut and styled to suit you.



• To get your physical transformation under way, first contact us to make an appointment for a free private consultation.

• The initial consultation will take about 10 to 20 minutes.
• It takes place in our private hairpiece fitting room, which is on the premises of Superior Hair, 201 Symonds Street, Eden Terrace.
• For complete discretion, we offer the option of a back door entrance – just let us know when you book your appointment and we’ll give you directions.
For the consultation, we invite you to bring in old photos of yourself before hair loss occurred, or other pictures showing hair that looks what you would like.
• At this appointment we determine the best method to use for your hairpiece, as well your requirements for:
• Base design
• Style
• Length
• Density
• Colour (to match your existing hair, if desired)
• Texture

• You can have as much or as little input into these decisions as you wish. Some clients have already decided on these elements and have strong preferences. Others would rather we use our knowledge and experience to advise and decide for them.

• Next we pass the details through to the experts to carefully construct your unique hairpiece to your specifications. It takes about 8 weeks for the custom-made hairpiece to be made.

• This appointment will take about 1 hour.
• Here we fit the hairpiece onto your head.
• We cut and style it to your requirements so that it fits seamlessly in with your own hair.
• We teach you how to put the hairpiece on yourself easily at home.
• We give detailed, clear information on ongoing care for your hairpiece to keep you looking your best.

• It’s important to us that you are happy with the hair system and your new look.
• We offer an ongoing maintenance service whereby you can come in and have your hairpiece shampooed and your existing hair cut and styled with it, to make sure that everything still fits seamlessly and the hairpiece is indistinguishable from the rest of your hair.
• Unlike other companies, we don’t make you sign a contract that you will use only our services for maintenance. If you would prefer to go to your regular stylist, we will fully inform you on what you need to know and pass on to the stylist.
• We can also repair the hairpiece if it eventually deteriorates from normal wear and tear.
* We can even duplicate a hairpiece if you previously had one you liked but it is no longer available.
