Our custom-made hair-replacement solutions are one of a kind. We utilise the very latest technological advances to give you hair that looks and feels natural so that you can look and feel your best without any surgical procedures. Below is how the process goes in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Consultation
The first step to get your custom made hair piece underway is to book a consultation with us. Our consultations are free and will only take about 10-20 minutes. Our address is 201 Symonds Street, Eden Terrace which is where the consultation will take place. In advance to the consultation, we will invite you to bring in old photos of yourself before hair loss occurred and photos of what you would like your hair to look like, as this will be extremely helpful. At the appointment we will determine the best method to use for your hairpiece, as well as the requirements which include: Base design, style, length, density, colour and texture.
Reminder: You can have as much or as little input into these decisions as you wish. Some clients have already decided on these elements and have strong preferences. Others would rather we use our knowledge and experience to advise and decide for them.
Step 2: Your hairpiece is made
Your new hairpiece will be shaped and sized to match your unique balding pattern. It will be colour-matched, cut, and styled to blend naturally with your own natural growing hair. We will design and create a hair piece that is perfect for your hair type; density, texture, using the most appropriate hair for your needs and personally prepared for you so that it is ready to enjoy.
Step 3: Fitting Appointment
Once we have got your hairpiece back in the salon we will give you a call to tell you that your hair system is ready to be fitted! This appointment will take about 1 hour and we will fit the hairpiece onto your head, cut and style it to your requirement so that it fits seamlessly in with your own hair. We will also teach you how to put the hairpiece on yourself easily at home and give detailed, clear information on ongoing care for your hairpiece.
Important points to note!
To ensure that your hair system stays it’s best for as long as it can (fits seamlessly & is indistinguishable from your natural hair), we offer an ongoing maintenance service whereby you can come in and have your hairpiece shampooed and your existing hair cut and styled with it. This maintenance is called Rebonding!
